A space to be soft, to be in quiet meditation, to get out of our thinking brains and into our body, through weaving guided by Meirav Ong.
This workshop is a ritual and ceremony to slow down, be with our grief, in softness, in tender company, and regulate our nervous system as we head into this winter season.
This full day weaving workshop offers a gentle, hands-on way to transmute stagnant grief into something soft through ritual of repurposing fabrics and materials that no longer serve us into something transformed through weaving.
Together we’ll delve deeper into meditative aspects of weaving, learning techniques for rug and basket making, as a way to navigate grief, exploring processes of thinking and feeling through our hands to form soft vessels that hold us.
This workshop includes:
A guided somatic and vocal meditation to release stagnant energy
Workshop kit with all materials and tools to create + take home with you
Guided weaving demonstrations
Tea + cozy snacks
