• Cutting with a jeweler's saw
• Drilling
• Riveting
• Forging
• Sanding and filing
• Texturing with hammers
• Making chain, bails and clasps
• Operating a Flex Shaft (electric hand tool with various finishing attachments)
• Various finishes: brushed, high-polish, oxidized

Class includes materials, tools, and a finished necklace by the end of the course. Additionally, each student takes home a pair of flat nose pliers, jewelers' saw, and bench pin.
