Forge & Finish, LLC would like to ensure our customer a long, healthy life with their new jewelry. Here are some tips for cleaning and caring for your piece to withstand the test of time.
Remove jewelry before handling chemicals, household cleaners, exercising or doing manual labor.
Store jewelry individually in a soft cloth, small box or air-tight plastic bag to prevent marring with other pieces and the natural oxidation process which occurs with all metals over time.
Bathe jewelry in mild dish soap and warm water.
Use a soft toothbrush to gently remove any dirt or debris.
Buff dry with a soft, lint-free cotton cloth.
Maintenance (to be used only with the specific finishes noted):
Use a jewelry polishing cloth to restore a high polish sheen.
Gently use extra fine steel wool to polish a brush finish.
*Disclosure: All concrete and ceramic pieces are carefully finished to ensure durability, though there is no guarantee that these pieces are unbreakable. Concrete and ceramic jewelry should be worn with care.*
