Modern metal jewelry designed and made by hand in Philadelphia, Pa.

Forge & Finish represents a union formed by three jewelry designers kindled by the promise of producing modern metal pieces for people who revel in the handmade culture. Traditional and experimental metalsmith technique is the core of the Forge & Finish work space. Often their jewelry reflects inspiration from modern aesthetics, yet embodies a foundation anchored by recapturing or reinterpreting a fondness from the past. The constant balancing throughout the creative process evolves designs that are interconnected and carry a timeless essence. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based studio is home to Desiree Casimiro, Emily Kane, and Carly MayerTogether they offer jewelry collections made by a range of materials creating a myriad of options, Their online shop is the perfect place to accessorize a versatile wardrobe and for procuring one-of-a-kind gifts.

The Philadelphia craft circuit continues to serve Forge & Finish as an outlet to share their work with the local community, and this website aims to help them share it with the world. Support independent art organizations like Forge & Finish by buying their products, visiting them at local craft markets, and spreading the word.

Desiree, Emily, & Carly have worked side-by-side for nearly a decade. They came together in one studio to continue to share their individual design aesthetics with one another after finishing their academic careers at Temple University and Tyler School of Art. Working for manufacturing companies by day provided a base to sharpen new and refine old skills, and these women have since developed an inspired production line.

For years, these women have nurtured each other through trials and journeys solidifying a long-lasting bond. Eventually, it became clear that their distinct characteristics would marry well if merged under one name. Together they forged and finished many projects; together they had the power to turn daydreams into reality. The culmination of past endeavors led to the mutual desire to live by making jewelry. And so it went, they leaned in and leapt into the future of Forge & Finish. The name clicked right away because of all the meanings in which it applied to their work ethic, process and determined approach to life.
